V Festival!
August 24, 2008
Was amazing! Strangely contrary to tradition I didn’t drink a huge amount. But it was really just a great weekend. We saw loads of great bands. Muse were absolutely amazing, they’re the most brilliant band ever!
I got a photograph with Maggot from Goldie Lookin’ Chain and Ian Watkins from Lostprophets. How cool is that?! Got lots of good pictures of Muse too. On the first day we were at the front for 5 hours and we got rather crushed, haha. We were a reasonable distance from Muse to get plenty of great pictures! I’m glad I saw them too, they don’t have any new gigs for a while.
On another note, i’m not really psyched to see Oasis in October, I really want to go!

The Gym
August 4, 2008
After a 6 month period of inactivity, i’ve started going to the gym again. I’m there most of the time, I don’t do anything in the evenings so I just go there to either work out or go in the pool. A friend of mine is training to be in the army and he goes with me so he always keeps my on my toes. I’ve actually started to notice some improvement in myself, amongst other things my heart rate is lower now when I run. It was around 135-140 when I started, now I sit at about 119.
I’m there on occasion for 5 days a week, i’m feeling fitter which is nice.

V Festival – 12 Days!
August 3, 2008
Yep, only 12 days until I get to see the greatest band ever at V Festival – Muse.
I’ve been a huge fan for ages, and I don’t know how i’m going to react when they come on, I might actually start giggling hysterically like a school girl!
It’s been quite some time since my last post, it’s been very hard to balance my blogs with a full time job, you may have noticed The Heroes Chronicles came online for about a month then rather quickly went down again, I just don’t have the time anymore. =(
I think it’s a turning point for me, just last year I was gearing up to go back to 6th Form, I dropped out after just two months. I spent a long time jobless until I finally got a job at the start of February, i’m training to draw building plans. And i’ll also be starting College again in September, and I think i’ve grown up and i’m ready to get my head down. Working hard isn’t foreign to me, I solely maintained The Heroes Chronicles for over a year which took a lot of effort, once I was working on it for about 10 hours in one day. But, alas, it is not so much a sustaining job, more a hobby, and now i’m doing well.
My driving test is this month on the 27th. Wish me luck!
On a side note, I got the whole X-Files collection yesterday, (All 9 seasons plus the first movie), for just £75 ($150). What a bargain!
