Lost: Season 1
December 24, 2006
I’ve been watching a lot of Season 1 of Lost lately. I’m not sure why, it might be to pass the time since Christmas, but i’m really obsessed with Lost and I love it. I’ve found that Season 1 was amazingly good, and I now know why Season 2 lacked slightly. Don’t get me wrong, Season 2 was amazing, just Season 1 was legendary.
Some people who play games will understand. You know when you get a new game, and you complete it. All the original questions have been solved. Then you maybe activate a few cheats, and play with it in God Mode. It suddenly gets boring, because you’ve completed it once before and now it’s just too easy. The losties got used to life on the island, and it got easy for them. Their food problem was solved, they found a hatch that had a seemingly unlimited supply of food and regular drops. They had clean water, pretty much everything.
It got too easy for them, that’s why it got less exciting, because we were no longer watching them survive, we were watching them live. Locke receeded to his hatch, and we missed out on watching him hunt. Hopefully in Season 3 we will get to see him hunt a bit more.
Lost has always been on the path to good things, it’s just wavered ever so slightly.

Have a Merry… Winter Festival?
December 22, 2006
Okay, so my friend said to me yesterday the weirdest thing in the world. Christmas might be renamed to ‘Winter Festival’. It’s a very odd idea, but basically it’s because non-christians celebrate Christmas but forget the message behind it, it’s a celebration of Christs birth. So basically they are thinking about changing it’s name to Winter Festival. I wonder who will be the one changing it. Will it be the Government, or the Church.
It’s one of those silly ideas, like a tax on carol singing, and not being allowed to say Merry Christmas, because it advocates drinking.
Do not fear, I don’t think this idea will take off that well.
Fender… (Gargle)…
December 21, 2006

Today I went in a music shop today, I play guitar and have always had a passion for Fender. A while back I wanted a Fender Toronado (Pictured above) but it was very expensive so I just made do with what I have. Well back on the story, I went in a music shop and picked up a Fender Squier… Affinity I think it was. I rocked harder than i’ve ever rocked before. Playing it was just awesome, the guitar itself sounded great. And anyway, I want one, because I want to sound like that all the time. I would also need a new amp too though, which can sometimes cost almost the same as the guitar. I guess I will be saving for a while then. Anyways, bye,

A ‘linear’ day…
December 20, 2006
Today has been what I can only describe as a ‘linear’ day.
It was nothing like yesterday, I went up the city with my cousin, we had lunch (McDonalds
) then we played his 360 for a little while and then we decided to got to Cromer at about 3pm. It was pretty fun.
Today the highlight of my day has been wrapping presents. I was defrosting a roll and I left it too long and it started to turn to dough and tasted a bit like rat poison. I have never tasted rat poison, but I thought that it would taste like that roll. Had bacon in the roll, was tasty.

Christmas…
December 19, 2006

I’m not sure with the time differences and everything, but it’s December in the UK which means Christmas is very soon.
I finished school for the year yesterday, I have bought the presents for my family, not wrapped yet, I never get round to it!
I love the Christmas feeling, I got a whiff of it today which was pretty cool. I’m getting a Creative Zen for Christmas, I didn’t do a present hunt, but I went to pick it out with my dad, so that’s why I know what i’m getting.
Hope everyone has a good Chrismas, see ya.

Overhaul…
December 19, 2006
I have had a little overhaul of my blog, it was really getting a chore for me to write, and it’s now sort of changing from my loves and likes to a little more about me, i’m sure I will be good at writing that!
It was really getting a bit boring writing, so hopefully this will change it for the better.
I’m also going to make it more interesting, I hear you cheering!

We got the Pick! Of Destiny!
December 9, 2006
I am very happy today, I went downstairs at the crack of noon to see that a package had arrived. It was my Limited Edition Pick of Destiny Album that I ordered. It was quite strange. It was supposed to take around 2-3 weeks to get to me but it only took 6 days. :O
It’s awesome, The package includes a Pick of Destiny album, tarot cards like the ones in the film, a movie poster and the best part… The Pick of Destiny!!
So this morning I have been particularly rocking out, awesome.
I might get a picture up later.
